The company OmniVision® was founded in late 2003 by Burkhardt Hoffmann. An in-depth knowledge of the industry and excellent range of personal contacts, coupled with many years of experience in the ophthalmological field inspired Mr Hoffmann to found the company. Unlike many other companies, OmniVision’s product portfolio includes a number of niche products which, although they do not generate a large sales volume, are indispensable for affected patients. Due to a lack of therapeutic alternatives in many cases, these patients are even more dependent on high-quality, affordable preparations to treat their conditions. As an innovative, owner-managed, family pharmaceutical company in the specialty field of ophthalmology, OmniVision® stands for the “joy of seeing” and for high-quality and economical preparations that benefit patients. That all eyes are important to us, goes without saying.
Our vision for the future includes vigorous expansion of our product range, always within the premises of innovation, quality and price-awareness.
Additionally, maintaining personal contact with our physicians, pharmacists and their teams remains vitally important. It is no wonder therefore that our long-standing physician and pharmacist field services, rolled out nationally in 2017, have been some of our top priorities.
